Fortizen is the brainchild of two brothers, Teg and Ryan McBride. Together they have developed an extremely effective training program that combines the proven tools of operational and clinical psychology and the real-world experience of law enforcement experts.
Fortizen training includes the integration of Pathfinder:
A state of-the-art program that teaches how to seamlessly engage with first responders in an emergency.
Dr. McBride is a retired military officer and Operational/Survival Psychologist. He was head of psychological operations at the military’s largest survival program. During his time in the military, he served in combat zones as a Command Psychologist in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr. McBride is also a board certified clinical psychologist and is the founder of Peak Harmony Mental Health Service. Some unique things about him include his training and experience as a hostage negotiator, his stealthy ability to egress an upside down helicopter underwater in the dark, his expert marksmanship, and his proven expertise in successfully treating the effects of trauma and distress.
Ryan McBride has been a law enforcement officer for 19 years in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. His assignments and experience have ranged from Detective in the FBI Gang Task Force, SWAT explosive breacher, and SWAT team leader. Ryan has also been a US Government contractor in Afghanistan. During his operational experience, he has taken part in hostage rescue operations, high risk warrant services, and executive protection. From an operator to tactical command leadership, these experiences have taught Ryan the importance of the team over self. Currently, his roles include Watch Command & SWAT Tactical Commander.
